Course Description: 12th GRADE CAREER CHOICES Career/Leadership/Community (CaLeCo)

 

Leadership:  Prepares students for Internship, school and community involvement, Senior Projects and team work skills. A 30 hour internship is required.

 

Career/College Connections: Prepares students for post-high school goals including letters of recommendation, personal statements, college and scholarship application writing, mock interviews, FAFSA and SAT/ACT prep. A culminating senior project presentation to the community is required of all students in May.

 

Graduation Requirements Satisfied with the Course:

.25 CTE credit for each trimester of Leadership

.25 CTE credit each trimester of Career Choices

 

Sequence of Courses/Pre-Requisites:

Upon completion of 9-11th Career Connections, students will be prepared to take 12th grade CaLeCo and Leadership
