Course Description: CWU Biology 101 and HEALTH

 

Do you want to be able to design your own experiments and perform research with the opportunity to earn college scholarships?  Are you interested in spending time on our beautiful Lake Chelan and the surrounding streams collecting data to keep it healthy for generations to come?  If so, CWU Biology 101 would be a great opportunity to pursue your interests and receive college credit.  We will be covering the whole landscape of biology from ecology to cell processes to DNA technology.

 

Graduation Requirements Satisfied with this Course:

By the end of the year you will receive 1.0 Science Credit, 0.5 credit of Health and 5 college credits from CWU.

If you have already taken Health, then you will only have to take the 2 trimesters of CWU 101.

 

Sequence of Courses/Pre-Requisites:

*Biology/Honors Biology

OR

*Honors Physical Science (can take the class at a 10th grader)
