Course Description:  Forensics and Biotechnology

 

Have you ever sat and watched CSI, NCIS, or Criminal Minds and wondered how cool would that be to do what they are doing?  This introductory course to forensics will highlight the scientific method as we study topics such as fingerprinting, blood typing, questioning, and DNA profiling.  The class is a hands-on, laboratory based class with a final murder mystery case where you put to work all the different skills you would have learned.

 

Graduation Requirements Satisfied with this Course:

By the end of the year you will receive 1.0 elective Lab Science Credit
