Course Description: HUM 103

 

"Exploring Cultures in Modern and Contemporary Society"

 

Course Description: This course integrates and explores some of the dominant thoughts and ideas of various works of outstanding literature, history, religion, philosophy, art, film and music from the beginning of the 20th Century to the present, post- modern age.  Through the interconnectivity of these disciplines, we will discover and develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of our post-modern age and culture and the individuals who influenced the humanities. 1 trimester course 

 

Graduation Requirements Satisfied with this Course: Students will receive an elective credit.

 

Prerequisite: A student must have successfully passed English 101, 131, or 111 with a C- or higher.
