Course Description: LA II INTERVENTION

 

LA II Intervention runs during 2nd trimester and is intended for struggling LA II students and is a bolster as students prepare for the SBAC in the spring.  This course offers in-depth practice with literary devices, literary analysis of short stories and a novel and the writing process.  Still aligned with the Health curriculum, a flip course will align a novel with the question of depression and sadness taught in Health simultaneously.

 

Graduation Requirements Satisfied with this Course:

Students in LA II Intervention will gain an additional .5 LA credit in addition to the 1 credit from trimester 1 & 3.
