Summer Courses for PE Credit

 

Natural History of the Glacier Peak Wilderness:  (.5 Health and Fitness)

 

Prerequisites:

Class Description:  The scenic Glacier Peak Wilderness will be the classroom where students will witness the dynamic dance between tectonic and volcanic forces. View firsthand how life has to create the variety of ecosystems found throughout this wilderness area. Students will hike through several different ecosystems over 5-6 days. The class will also introduce the students to the recreational activity of backpacking and no trace camping.

 

Graduation Requirement: Satisfies .5 of the required 2.0 PE credit.
